CELEBRATING THE 20th ANNIVERSARY OF SUPER TURBO AT EVO 2014: X-MANIA USA and TOURNAMENT OF LEGENDS II
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Super Street Fighter II Turbo, we invite the worldwide FGC to take part in a celebration at EVO to honor the fighter that birthed a generation’s phenomenon. EVO will at long last partner with X-MANIA, one of the biggest names in Japanese and now international Street Fighter competition, for an unprecedented Super Turbo special event on the main EVO stage and stream!
Also, we’re excited announce TOURNAMENT OF LEGENDS II, due to the worldwide success and fan feedback from our main-stage EVO 2012 event, which was preceded by qualifier events all around the globe, made possible only by support from T.O.s and players like you.
COMMUNITY DONATION DRIVE:
This year, we need your help more than ever to make it a reality! We’re offering exciting Street Fighter prizes for a donation drive that will help enable us to host international guests, provide resources for the tournaments, and promote and commemorate this event 20 years in the making.
- We will offer some goodies for certain donation amounts:
- $100 - A ToL II poster signed by the qualifiers.
- $75 - A commemorative ToL II Final Tour t-shirt. (The final version will have all the finalized qualifiers and dates and may look slightly different.)
- $50 – Unsigned ToL II poster.
- $25 – ST Revival bumper sticker (North America only sorry!)
- $10 – Raffle entry to win a signed ToL II poster or a ToL II t-shirt.
- However, every donation helps no matter how small. We appreciate each and every one of you who can help!
RULES/SETTINGS:
TOURNAMENT OF LEGENDS II:
- Will be run on Japanese H2H Cabinets and UD-CPS2 Supergun (compatible with most popular PS3/360 fightsticks).
- Solo 1vs1 Tournament.
- Double elimination.
- Pools will be 2/3 games per match. Top 32 will be 3/5 games per match.
- Japan Speed T3.
- Loser may switch characters between games.
- Akuma is banned.
- Prior to EVO, there will be 16 qualifiers and 4 Japanese Grandmaster invites who will automatically advance to the top 32.
- ToL II is open for everyone to enter and will be capped at 128 entries.
- Players will be split into four pools of 32. Top three from each pool advance to the top 32.
- Entry Fee: $20

X-MANIA USA:
- Will be run on Japanese H2H Cabinets with USB support provided by Undamned’s converter board for PS3/360 sticks/pads.
- Top 8 will be run on the main stage on UD-CPS2 Supergun. Cabs will not be available to use on stage but players will be provided custom replica Japanese cab joystick stands provided by Arkadeum. Players who do not wish to use the stands can use their PS3/360 controller of choice.
- 3vs3 Team Tournament.
- Single Elimination.
- Speed Japan T3.
- Capped at 32 teams.
- Character Lock (Players will choose their character when registering).
- Pokemon Format (Team order may be switched against each team).
- Blind select when determining which team members will start first.
- Akuma is banned.
- Teams have one minute to decide for the next team member to play.
- X-MANIA USA is open for everyone to enter (no qualifiers).
- We will pair up players without a team if they cannot find teammates.
- Entry Fee: $10
REGISTRATION:
- Online Pre-Registration will close June 30th, 2014. You will then have to register on-site.
- You can register on-site at EVO from 8AM-9AM on the day of the tournament however each tournament will have an additional on-site registration fees so we STRONGLY encourage everyone to pre-register online early.
- Registering early online helps us to effectively generate the brackets. Top players are seeded properly and competitors are separated by region as best as possible.
- If you did not have a team for X-MANIA USA when you registered but want to enter your team now, email kuroppi@strevival.com with your Team Name and Team Members. We need to have as many teams as formed early as possible for seeding purposes. If you wait to form your team at EVO, you may not get seeded properly.

PAYOUT:
- Some of the entry fees may be used to help subsidize tournament expenses. The remaining portion will go to the payout.
